The most sensitive at home test, as seen in an FDA study

Our Coronavirus Test (COVID-19) requires a gentle lower nasal swab to be collected by you in the home. The test-kit comes with a UPS next day air return shipping label to send your sample back to our lab. Your sample is analysed in our lab using gold standard RT-PCR/TMA to confirm the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. We aim to deliver your result within 24-72 hours of your sample being received in our laboratory.

Real-time test tracking

Our test includes a free express UPS shipping service to deliver the sample to our laboratory for processing. You will receive notifications by SMS and email to keep you informed throughout the entire process.

Laboratory Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests (NAATs)

Your swab sample will be sent to our high complexity CLIA-certified laboratory for full analysis by our team of clinical scientists.

Analysis will include either reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and transcription-mediated amplification (TMA).

These molecular diagnostic tests can confirm the presence of coronavirus, with results typically available within 24-72 hours of arriving in the lab. This test will not indicate immunity or detect antibodies.

We aim to deliver your results to your secure online account within 24-72 hours after lab receipt. Due to the current global circumstances, minor delays may occur in some cases. We are making every effort to ensure that results are delivered on time. An official lab report will be made available to you, to serve as proof of your result.

Learn more about our COVID-19 test’s sensitivity result from a recent FDA study.
The LetsGetChecked Coronavirus (COVID-19) Test was recently put to the test by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in their SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) reference panel comparison. The goal of this FDA comparison was to help healthcare providers and consumers compare the performance of various coronavirus tests on the market.

Our at-home COVID-19 test was found to be the most analytically sensitive for both lower nasal swabs and take-home tests. These findings ensure that you can have confidence in the result you receive from our easy and gentle at-home test. From our state-of-the-art laboratories to our teams of clinical scientists, the LetsGetChecked COVID-19 test has out-performed other tests and proven to be the best at-home testing option for those looking to test from the safety and convenience of home.

What happens if I receive a positive result?

If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. Emergency warning signs include*:

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face

*This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.

After you've been exposed to the virus, how long does it take on average for symptoms to appear?

The length of time between a person becoming infected with the type of coronavirus that causes COVID-19 disease and developing symptoms can vary. Symptoms usually develop between 2-14 days after being exposed to the virus, with the average length of time being about 5 days.

Where can I get the most up to date information on COVID-19?

You can find information about COVID-19 on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website. This website provides information about how to protect yourself and others from the coronavirus, and what to do if you become unwell.

What does FDA-Authorized mean?

LetsGetChecked’s At-Home Coronavirus Test (COVID-19) has been issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for at-home consumer use, which provides consumers with the ability to test themselves from the comfort and safety of their homes.

When there are no FDA-approved or cleared tests available, and other criteria are met, the FDA can make tests available under an emergency access mechanism called an Emergency Use Authorization(EUA).The EUA for this test is supported by the Secretary of Health and Human Service’s(HHS’s) declaration that circumstances exist to justify the emergency use of in vitro diagnostics for the detection and / or diagnosis of the virus that causes COVID-19.

LetsGetChecked’s Sure-track Test is the only FDA EUA-authorized at-home Coronavirus (COVID-19) test that owns all aspects of the testing service.

What does the transport tube contain?

For everyone’s safety LetsGetChecked uses a sample transport media which inactivates the virus (meaning it is no longer infectious), but preserves it for analysis. This means that the virus is deactivated or killed in the transport tube and so will protect anyone should it spill or get opened before arriving in the lab.

What proof of results is provided?

Following the release of your results, an official lab report will become available on your patient dashboard within your LetsGetChecked account.

This report will contain the details of the test performed, including:

  • Infectious disease tested
  • Testing date
  • Results Summary
  • Test provider
What are Laboratory Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests (NAATs)?

These tests work by amplifying the amount of genetic material of the SARS-CoV-2 virus so that it can be detected and analysed by our team of clinical scientists within our CLIA-certified labs.
